Dr. Fine can provide a variety of braces, splints and casting to immobilize the foot or ankle following injury and/or surgery and aid in the healing process. This includes custom-molded ankle-foot orthoses, rigid walking boots, hard and soft (air) casts and more, depending on the patient’s injury. Often, a medical boot will be fitted to a patient with a broken foot or ankle bone, metatarsal fracture, sprain or plantar fasciitis in order to stabilize and protect the injured location. There are many types of these devices currently available, and Dr. Fine is quite knowledgeable about which boot designs are best suited to a particular condition and patient, so feel free to consult him about your options. Call our office at 727.645.0720 to arrange for a consultation with Dr. Fine, and see below for more information.
